FirmWare Modules

One very unique feature about the Audio Toolbox Trinity series is it allows you to choose and pay for only the tools that you use. The analyzers ship with all of the tools included but locked, you simply purchase unlock codes and enter them on the Toolbox. We include our SoundCore™ firmware module pre-installed in all models - it contains the essential tools for audio and acoustic analysis. Some packages include add-on hardware as well as specific waveforms.

SoundCore™

Comes standard with all ATB-3's. Includes most used tools for audio and acoustics analysis.
FFT Analyzer (FFT)
Provides full, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12 octave frequency resolution, Hamming window
Real Time Analyzer (RTA)
ANSI 1/3 octave filter-based RTA, all weightings
Sound Level Meter (SLM)
Displays true RMS SPL using ANSI Fast, Slow, Impulse, Peak, Averaging, 20 Hz-21.5 kHz
Sound Study Graph (SSG)
1 minute to 24 hour SPL measurement
Energy-Time Graph
Graphical display of Energy-Time decay curve in ms, feet or meters
Level Meter
- 105 dBu to +40 dBu Stereo level meter reads in dBu, dBv, Vave, Vp-p or Vrms. Auto-ranges
Impedance Meter
±1% from 1 to 50Ω, ±5% up to 5kΩ, 20 Hz to 16 kHz, ±10%
Frequency Counter
16 Hz to 40 kHz, ±5%
Polarity Tester
Tests absolute speaker phase (polarity) by analyzing a proprietary waveform line level equipment, speakers, mics
Cable Tester
Test XLR, 1/4”, and RCA audio cables in all combinations. Also includes a continuity tester mode
RT60 Calculator
Calculates decay time of residual room mode 60 dB/td>
Signal Generator
Outputs sine waves, square waves, white noise, and pink noise - octave or 1/3-octave band filtered
Recording Tool
For use with onboard USB preamp. Offers adjustable gain trim in hundredth increments. 3 switchable high pass filters.

TechBench™

Contains extensive set of tools for test, measurement and troubleshooting of analog audio hardware.
Includes impedance test cable as part of package.

Distortion Meter
Computes THD+N. Speaker, microphone, line level input

Time Delay Analysis

Implementation of swept-sime wave measurement with tracking filter. Provides a noise-immune method to measure transducer response and room acoustics. Includes special version of Terralink to plot 2-D and 3-D waterfall graphs from sweeps.
